Can you trust NBC after they edited Zimmermans 911 call?

Why is NBC attempting to make Zimmerman look like a racist? Rosemary~ do you have proof of your alligations? That is the first time I heard anyone say that's what Zimmerman called Trayvon. Should NBC News be held accountable?
There is a tremendous amount of opinion being voiced here and in the news about the Trevor Martin/George Zimmerman case. Most of it is angry, much of it is slanted one way or another. There are some who believe that Zimmerman was a racist vigilante who stalked Martin in cold blood, while a racist police force looked the other way. Others believe that Martin had turned back and confronted Zimmerman, and that Zimmerman truly was acting in self-defense. As sure as any of us might be about the case, the only real fact is that we don't know all the facts; there are eyewitness accounts and on-site police reports that have not yet been revealed; we don't know what kind of evidence the prosecutor's office is considering, and we certainly don't know what direction they intend to take on the case. While all this is happening, NBC released their version of the 911 tapes, which clearly marked Zimmerman as a racist - because he said, "he looks like he's up to no good. He looks black". Problem is, the tape was edited. Zimmerman only said that because the dispatcher asked. My question is - regardless of how you feel about this case, regardless of what you do or do not believe about Zimmerman, do you think NBC News should be called to task for this obvious breach of ethics? The Washington Times is reporting that NBC has launched "An internal investigation". Do you think this is enough, or do you think that this kind of irresponsible, race-baiting journalism should have deeper consequences? If you yourself believe that Zimmerman is a racist, do you think this kind of journalism is OK because it just supports what you believe to be true anyway, or have they crossed a bigger line here? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/apr/2/inside-politics-nbc-news-to-probe-misleading-edit-/
